Endeavor’s MatchCAP Asia expands as key Regional Fundraising Platform

This year's event saw participation from over 240 entrepreneurs and investors, facilitating more than 800 curated one-on-one meetings.

Endeavor recently concluded its seventh annual MatchCAP Asia event in Singapore from April 27-29, 2025, solidifying its position as the largest investor-founder matchmaking roadshow in Southeast Asia. This year’s event saw participation from over 240 entrepreneurs and investors, facilitating more than 800 curated one-on-one meetings.

The exclusive two-day roadshow focused on creating meaningful connections between growth-oriented startups and prominent venture capital firms across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, indicating increasing regional collaboration within the innovation landscape. All participating startups are reportedly preparing to raise capital within the next 6 to 12 months, offering a potential preview of the region’s upcoming high-growth companies.

Manny Ayala, Endeavor’s Regional Managing Director for Asia, commented, “What started as a bold experiment in 2019 has now become a cornerstone event for Endeavor in Asia. The numbers say it all. The momentum is real, and the appetite for high-quality conversations between founders and investors continues to grow.”

MatchCAP Asia distinguishes itself through its personalized format, scheduling curated meetings in investor offices or selected venues. This approach aims to prioritize substantive discussions that could lead to investment, partnerships, or strategic advancement.

The event garnered support from notable global partners, including Aspire, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Buttonscarves, Carta, Cooley, Deel, Grab, Grand Tech Cloud Services, Green Rebel, IHG, Qapita, and Singapore Global Network, reflecting investor confidence in the Southeast Asian startup ecosystem. Media partners IDN Times, Fortune Indonesia, and e27 also contributed to amplifying the event’s reach.

Endeavor is a global community dedicated to high-impact entrepreneurs, with a mission to foster thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems in emerging and underserved markets. The organization provides support to founders through various initiatives, including Endeavor Catalyst, its co-investment fund.
