Founders Launchpad sets date for 2025 Demo Day

The event is expected to be the firm's largest to date.

Founders Launchpad (FL), a Philippine-based early-stage venture capital and accelerator firm, will host its annual Demo Day 2025 on November 11, 2025, in Makati City. The event is expected to be the firm’s largest to date.

The annual Demo Day brings together founders, investors, and members of the startup ecosystem to showcase portfolio companies from the latest cohort as they present innovations tailored for the Philippine market. Attendance is projected to exceed 300 attendees.

FL is set to unveil its third cohort of startups across the FinTech, E-Commerce, Food & Beverage, AI, and Logistics industries. Some companies in the current cohort are already backed by investors, including Iterative and Kaya Founders.

“This is going to be our biggest event yet— a night to celebrate the founders we’ve worked with and everything happening in the local startup scene,” said Simon Bauer, Co-Founder of Founders Launchpad. “We’ve always tried to make our Demo Days something special, not just for our founders, but for the whole startup community. It’s our way of activating the broader startup ecosystem, bringing new people into the space, and showing how much energy and talent there really is here.”

The event will feature additional programming beyond the main pitch presentations. An Investor Matching event, powered by XenConnect (Xendit), is scheduled before the main program, offering founders one-on-one meetings with local and international investors. A VIP Networking Night, co-hosted by 917Ventures, will conclude the evening.

“This year, our Demo Day is designed to create value that extends beyond our portfolio pitches,” said Thomas Abentung, Co-Founder of Founders Launchpad. “We’re providing startups with crucial access to local and regional investors through our matching program, as well as the unique opportunity for a deeper collaboration with Globe’s 917 Ventures Velocity program for possible access to valuable telco data. It’s an event designed to create tangible connections and real opportunities beyond Founders Launchpad.”

Last year’s Demo Day drew over 200 attendees and featured six emerging startups: Clout Kitchen, Dehusk, MedsGo, Motorento, OneLot, and Skyway Airlines.

FL remains committed to providing early-stage startups with capital funding, operational support, and mentorship. The firm’s work is set against the backdrop of the Philippines raising a record-breaking $1.12 billion in venture capital funding in 2024.

Founders Launchpad Demo Day 2025 is sponsored by Aspire, Google Cloud, 917 Ventures, KMC Solutions, N90, AgadPay, and Green Sun Hotel.
