GoRocky, a telehealth platform for chronic care, today announced it has acquired the Kindred brand and related assets from Kindred Health, Inc. This acquisition marks GoRocky’s formal expansion into the women’s health sector.
Founded in 2023, GoRocky operates a digital platform connecting patients with licensed doctors, pharmacies, and diagnostic services for conditions including sexual health, hair loss, and weight management.
Kindred, founded in 2022 by Jessica de Mesa-Lim, is a hybrid women’s health provider offering consultations, diagnostics, and specialized care programs through its flagship clinic in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and online. Together, the two brands have served nearly 100,000 patients in the Philippines.
GoRocky stated that its immediate priority is the continuity of care for existing Kindred patients. The flagship clinic in BGC will remain operational and central to the transition, supplemented by online access and care coordination services. Patients may continue to direct inquiries to existing Kindred contact channels.
GoRocky intends to integrate its digital platform – including care coordination, clinical workflows, and patient support – with Kindred’s existing care model. The acquisition follows GoRocky’s observation of increasing demand for its services among female patients, particularly within its weight management programs.
According to the firm, this expansion aligns with a shift toward verticalized healthcare platforms that provide end-to-end patient care – combining consultations, diagnostics, and pharmacy fulfillment into a single ecosystem.
“One integrated platform is what lets us deliver better care to both men and women: a network of licensed doctors and partner pharmacies, our own technology for electronic medical records and order management, and diagnostics,” said GoRocky CEO Kiyanusch Braun. “Our first priority is to serve existing patients better: 24/7 support, an expanded doctor network, and more treatment options as determined by our doctors while ensuring continuity of care throughout the transition. From there, we will grow care across Kindred’s flagship clinic in BGC and online to millions of patients to come, adding services for menopause, metabolic health, mental health, and sexual health.”
The company plans to utilize this combined infrastructure to address gaps in chronic disease management and gender-specific healthcare in the Philippines.
GoRocky is backed by investors including Kaya Founders, Integra Partners, and Pulse 63 Healthcare Ventures. The Kindred brand and certain related assets are now operated by GoRocky following this asset acquisition; Kindred Health, Inc. remains a separate legal entity.
