IdeaSpace Accelerator Program graduates six startups focused on technology and sustainability

The event spotlighted six startups that completed the three-month program launched in August.

IdeaSpace Foundation, the early-stage technology incubator and accelerator arm of the MVP Group of Companies, recently held the Demo Day for the 13th cohort of its Accelerator Program at Common Ground, Makati City.

The event spotlighted six startups that completed the three-month program launched in August. This year’s cohort, themed “Startups for the Future,” featured ventures focused on applying technology to sustainability and changing lifestyles. The Demo Day served as a platform for the founders to present their scalable businesses to investors, industry leaders, and IdeaSpace’s partner network.

The six businesses graduating from Cohort 13 offer solutions across different industry verticals:

KaHero: A cloud-based point-of-sale system for small businesses, providing tools for sales, inventory, and multi-branch management.

Soolok Properties Inc.: A digital platform that aggregates foreclosed property listings and uses proprietary models to identify real estate deals.

Xure: A mobile marketplace for collectors to safely buy, sell, and trade valuables, which includes expert appraisal and certification services.

DashoContent: A hybrid content operations platform that uses a combination of AI and human experts to manage and streamline content creation workflows.

Cloverly: An internal tool for property developers and brokers designed to digitize and simplify the buyer onboarding process.

Polka Motors: An online marketplace that aims to simplify and accelerate the application process for motor vehicle loans.

The graduating companies have demonstrated early operational readiness and market impact. Collectively, the cohort has onboarded over 588 F&B and general merchandise branches and 350 dealer branches, and has accumulated a combined user base of over 12,000 active users. Additionally, the businesses have secured follow-on investments, launched enterprise pilots, expanded their reach both locally and internationally, and established B2B collaborations in essential sectors like banking and financial services.

IdeaSpace confirmed its continuous support for the startups, providing mentorship, access to its network, and guidance on fundraising, business operations, and marketing to aid their transition to the next funding rounds.

Rene “Butch” Meily, President of IdeaSpace Foundation, commented on the program’s significance, stating that “IdeaSpace has always been and remains a vital funnel of world-class, early-stage talent to the global community, and we believe the overall future of the Philippine startup ecosystem has never been brighter.”

Alwyn Rosel, Executive Director of IdeaSpace, added that “The cornerstone of our work is to sustain the ecosystem so that we help more startups that have immense potential to contribute to the economy and national development. This cohort embodies that mission, and we are excited to partner with them on their journey to build scalable, sustainable businesses. Demo Day is not an end, but a beginning of crucial collaborations.”

The IdeaSpace Accelerator Program has supported over 150 startups since its inception.
