Mober, a Philippine logistics company specializing in electric vehicle (EV) transport, has opened a large-scale commercial EV charging hub in Pasay City.
The facility, named Central Charge, is located on D. Macapagal Avenue and covers 3,000 square meters. It features 56 charging ports, including 50 7kW DC chargers and two 60kWh fast-charging units, designed to support Mober’s fleet of electric vans and trucks. The company states the hub can charge up to 200 EV trucks daily through a three-shift operational system.
Mober reports that Central Charge is designed to address the specific needs of logistics operations, differing from typical public EV charging stations. The hub is situated near commercial areas in Metro Manila, serving clients including IKEA, Nestlé Philippines, and Maersk.

This expansion follows the opening of Mober’s first charging hub in Pasay City in 2023, which had 30 charging units and covered 800 square meters. The company is considering adding solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and a 500 kWh battery energy storage system (BESS) to Central Charge. Mober aims to expand its EV fleet to over 500 vehicles by 2026.
“Central Charge is not just an infrastructure investment, but it’s a strategic step to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly delivery solutions while maintaining our zero-emission commitment,” Ng added.
Mober recently introduced an electric tractor head truck. The company’s initiatives align with the Electric Vehicles and Charging Systems (EVIDA) Act.
