BuildHub PH, an online marketplace for contractors and hardware stores in the Philippines, has officially introduced its newly enhanced platform and new financing service as part of its expansion in the Visayas region.
The e-commerce platform introduced BuildHub.ph, its newly enhanced platform for the country’s construction industry, and BuildCredit, its new financing service that supports builders and hardware stores.
BuildCredit offers interest rates of 1% to 3% for 30-60 day terms. BuildHub said this financing program seeks to provide financial stability and growth opportunities for small and medium enterprises in the construction industry.
The newly enhanced platform, on the other hand, seeks to streamline transactions, improve online visibility, and ensure timely delivery of construction materials for reputable brands.

The new platform and financing service were introduced at the 2024 Philippine Construction (PhilCon) Visayas Expo in Cebu City. The expo, organized by the Philippine Constructors Association Inc, was participated by over 200 industry exhibitors.
During the expo, BuildHub PH Chief Business Officer Marika Laciste discussed the challenges of penetrating the Visayas market, saying traditional supplier loyalties have become a significant barrier.
“This is why we have introduced BuildHub.ph and BuildCredit to revolutionize the construction industry. These services boost operational efficiency and promote sustainable development to hardware stores and suppliers in key Visayan cities,” Laciste said.
Moving forward, BuildHub aims to expand its offerings with BuildShipping, a proprietary logistics and warehousing network that ensures the timely delivery of over 400 shipments monthly. This service will be offered in the Visayas and Mindanao region soon, according to the announcement.
BuildHub said the expansion into the Visayas and Mindanao regions is projected to grow the platform’s user base by about 100%, further supporting the company’s goal of achieving EBITDA profitability by 2025.
The Visayas expansion comes about two months after Hubware Corporation, an online marketplace for builders, hardware stores, and construction suppliers, announced securing an investment from B2B e-commerce platform BuildMart PH Technologies.
The fresh funding enables Hubware to build a holistic digital construction ecosystem in the Philippines through BuildHub.ph.
