Philippine telehealth platform GoRocky secures $2M for chronic care expansion

The capital injection is intended to advance GoRocky's mission to address widespread chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, PCOS, and hypertension affecting millions of Filipinos.

GoRocky, a Philippine telehealth platform, has secured US$2 million (₱116 million) in new funding to expand its services from men’s health into chronic care management. Singaporean venture capital firm Integra Partners and local VC firm Kaya Founders led the funding round.

The capital injection is intended to advance GoRocky’s mission to address widespread chronic conditions such as obesity, diabetes, PCOS, and hypertension affecting millions of Filipinos. The company, which also operates the weight loss brand GoSlim, plans to transform into a leading platform for chronic care in the country.

Founded in 2022, GoRocky initially focused on breaking the stigma surrounding men’s health issues, including erectile dysfunction and hair loss. The platform has supported over 30,000 patients in addressing these issues in a confidential digital space.

With the new funding, GoRocky will expand its vision to create a more accessible, affordable, and personalized healthcare system for chronic conditions. The platform aims to build a seamless digital experience that connects patients with doctors, pharmacies, and diagnostic services for easier management of long-term health issues from home.

“Millions of Filipinos are living with conditions they can’t easily treat—not because they don’t care, but because the system makes it too hard,” said Joaqui Palaña, Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer. “We’re building the simpler, safer way to get better.”

Chronic conditions like obesity are a significant driver of various health issues in the Philippines, contributing to a rise in diseases like diabetes and hypertension. GoRocky and GoSlim plan to tackle the root causes of these conditions, rather than just the symptoms.

The company emphasizes that all patient care is delivered by licensed independent doctors and includes initial medical consultations and diagnostic services before treatment. Technology safeguards are in place to track and verify all treatments. The platform presents itself as a safer, integrated alternative to unregulated options often sought due to a lack of trust or accessibility in traditional healthcare.

“Ultimately, we’re treating the root causes of conditions. Our mission is simple: simplify care. That means more access, higher convenience, and better health for consumers,” said GoRocky CEO Kiyanusch Braun. “The future will see a new normal: maximum convenience from home—doctor consultations, a care team, and personalized prescription delivery within days, at a fraction of the cost of outdated traditional care.”
