In a bid to modernize one of Southeast Asia’s most fragmented supply chains, Shoppable Business, a Manila-based supply chain technology startup, has raised $1.16 million in seed funding to expand its AI-powered middleware platform and B2B marketplace.
Led by CEO Carlo Silva alongside Sam Blanquera (COO), Chris Blanquera (CTO), and Mark Reyes (CBO), the startup aims to streamline procurement and distribution operations for enterprises and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the Philippines. The round attracted a roster of institutional and angel investors including Ignite House of Innovation, Tenco Capital, Indelible Ventures, ApolloTech Ventures, Manila Angel Investors Network, and others.
Shoppable’s core offering is Quotable, a middleware platform designed to automate a wide range of manual supply chain processes— from generating purchase orders to syncing inventory data—reducing human error and accelerating B2B transactions. The software integrates with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, point-of-sale tools, and e-commerce channels, creating a connected ecosystem between buyers, suppliers, and lenders.
The company, founded in 2022, says its tools are critical in a region where supply chain inefficiencies are exacerbated by manual workflows and disjointed procurement systems. “We built Shoppable to simplify B2B transactions, and Quotable is the next evolution of that vision,” said COO Sam Blanquera. “This funding will help us bring powerful automation tools to more businesses, especially MSMEs who need it the most.”
With over 1,000 buyer companies and 2,500 suppliers currently on its platform, Shoppable hopes to achieve profitability by the end of 2025.
Betting on the Infrastructure Layer
For investors like Ignite House of Innovation, Shoppable represents an opportunity to unlock efficiencies in an overlooked sector. “B2B commerce and supply chains, especially when you focus on MSMEs conducting thousands of transactions daily, are riddled with inefficiencies,” said Andre Yap, Ignite’s CEO. “Shoppable’s approach is to fix these daily workflows first, then scale the marketplace.”
Indelible Ventures managing partner Kevin Brockland echoed the sentiment, noting Shoppable’s capacity to solve the “infrastructure layers” of procurement. “They are addressing procedural inefficiencies for both vendors and purchasers,” Brockland said. “Combine that with a strong founding team, and the case for Shoppable becomes clear.”
Moving Beyond a Marketplace
While Shoppable began as a managed B2B marketplace, it is increasingly positioning itself as a technology-first company, focusing on the automation of supply chain functions. In addition to developing Quotable, the company plans to launch a lending dashboard, giving lender partners the ability to finance businesses directly on the platform.
Mark Reyes, Shoppable’s Chief Business Officer, underscored the startup’s mission to level the playing field. “Technology is a great equalizer. We believe digitizing procurement and distribution will enable Filipino businesses, regardless of size, to compete globally.”
As part of its strategy to accelerate adoption, Shoppable will be offering Quotable for free to MSMEs.
“We’re just getting started,” added CTO Chris Blanquera. “This funding gives us the capacity to innovate further and help more businesses navigate supply chain challenges with smarter tools.”
