SYNOPSIS
Early-stage businesses often need to raise capital in order to scale, or simply get things off the ground. These fresh funds enable them to invest in market expansion, fund product development, or employ more talent. While some businesses are content with using their profits and internally generated cash to fund such projects and ongoing operations, most will require some form of external funding from lending institutions or equity investors to accelerate growth.
Fundamentals of Fundraising is designed specifically for entrepreneurs and startup founders who are trying to raise funds for their business. This intensive two-day workshop will cover essential concepts, strategies, and techniques related to fundraising, providing participants with the knowledge and skills they need to attract investors and raise capital. It is designed as a workshop, not as a class. Meaning, the main goal is to uncover applications through real life examples by real practitioners who will share their experiences with the attendees, while allowing attendees to share their experiences with the facilitators. The workshop aims to foster an environment of collaboration.
