Philippine Fintech Festival (PFF), the country’s largest digital economies festival, kicks off this week from October 17 to 21, 2022 at Green Sun Hotel in Makati City. In conjunction with the World Fintech Festival Philippines (WFF-PH), an ecosystem supporting the digital growth of the ASEAN economy, both festivals are part of the overall Digital Pilipinas Festival, in partnership with Elevandi – one of the biggest fintech drivers in the world.
More than 200 regional and global speakers from the public and private sectors including regulators, CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, venture capitalists, investors, tech and digital innovators, startup founders, entrepreneurs, and senior policymakers will lead plenary discussions, interactive summits and workshops. Joining the festival are network participants from more than 250 organizations across industries and sub-industries including proptech, e-mobility, enertech, insurtech, healthtech, fintech, big data/AI, NFT, blockchain, open banking, SME, ecommerce, cybersecurity and more.
Distinguished speakers and thought leaders from top companies including Coins.ph, a co-presenter of the event, Advance.ai, Angkas, Brankas, COL Financial Group, Digicoop, Etiqa Philippines, GCash, KPMG Philippines, NinjaVan Philippines, Paymongo, UnionBank, UNO Digital Bank, and Startup Village will provide their perspective on this year’s festival theme, “Designing an Anti-Fragile World, Powered by Digital.” In addition, Mapua University, Fintech Philippines Association, Bounce Back PH, FinScore, Tech Exactly, and GeiserMaclang have also come on board as event partners to lend support.
The week-long event will host nine big summits happening simultaneously, gathering communities such as startups, entrepreneurs, Web 3.0 players, retail and cooperatives.
The morning sessions, hosted by WFF-PH will highlight various tech advancements in the ASEAN region with government and industry leaders from Hungary, Israel, and Singapore who will share their best practices and look to collaborate on a range of topics like regional transactions, ecommerce, cybersecurity, AI and data privacy, among others.
In the afternoon sessions, PFF will run workshops and pitch events that will bring together sectoral stakeholders, regulators, legacy players, technologists, and startups to discuss and address specific industry pain points through their own unique solutions.

DAY ONE – Innovation Tour (Oct. 17)
DAY TWO – Cooperatives Summit (Oct. 18) – discussions on Tech for Government/Tech for Good, One ASEAN Fintech plus workshops on ESG and green finance, smart/ connected cities and proptech, smart mobility & logistics
DAY THREE – Blockchain, Crypto, GameFin and Web 3.0 Summit (Oct. 19) – discussions and workshops on cybersecurity and Web 3.0, blockchain, crypto and NFT, regtech, Insurtech and healthtech
DAY FOUR – Retail & Entrepreneurship Summit (Oct. 20) – discussions on the future of wallets, AI & big data plus workshops on leveraging the energy value chain, SME digitalization and ecommerce, and education
DAY FIVE – Startup & Open Finance Summit (Oct. 21) – discussions on neobanks and digital banks, open finance and open data plus workshops on fintech, wealthtech and martech – the new convergence of marketing and technology
A highlight of the five-day conference is the launch of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Hackcelerator Program. Powered by Digital Pilipinas and US management consulting firm Oliver Wyman, Hackcelerator will feature breakthrough innovations on Web 3.0 executions and sustainable finance, as well as on insurtech and enertech that provide solutions to industry problems.
The festival also kicks off other ASEAN FinTech Festivals in Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia to be held in the course of the next several weeks.
