Quezon City announces fourth cohort for Startup QC Program

This initiative continues the city's efforts to support early-stage startups and foster its innovation ecosystem.

The Quezon City Government’s Startup QC Program is now accepting applications for its fourth cohort under the Professional Category. This initiative continues the city’s efforts to support early-stage startups and foster its innovation ecosystem.

The Startup QC Program offers selected startups up to PHP 1 million in equity-free grants. The program also provides mentorship, capacity-building sessions, and access to a network of investors, incubators, and innovation partners. The program aims to assist founders in refining business strategies, scaling solutions, and preparing for long-term sustainability.

Through the leadership of Mayor Joy Belmonte, Quezon City seeks to develop its economy by empowering Filipino founders to address real-world problems through innovation. The Startup QC Program is a component of this vision, providing entrepreneurs with a platform and support for growth.

Since its launch in 2022, the Startup QC Program has collaborated with Launchgarage Innovation Hub to deliver three cohorts under the professional category. This partnership has supported 16 professional startups across various industries, including technology, sustainability, education, and the creative economy. Launchgarage has contributed to program design, content delivery, and startup mentorship. Program alumni have gained recognition, attracted investments, and entered international markets.
