About Rafael Jose “Joel” Consing, Jr.
Joel Consing was appointed President & CEO of Maharlika Investment Corporation (MIC) in Nov 2023, following 11 months serving as Executive Director at the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Investment and Economic Affairs (OPAIEA), a government sector pivot following a three-decade career in global capital markets, and as corporate CFO.
Prior to OPAEIA, Joel was the SVP and CFO, Head of Compliance and Governance at International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), one of the leading global port operators. He was responsible for the financial management, risk mitigation, investor relations, and corporate governance of the company and its subsidiaries across 31 countries. He led several landmark transactions, such as the issuance of subordinated perpetual capital securities, which won multiple awards and recognition. He was also a board member and executive committee member of various public and private companies in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Pakistan. He has a strong background in investment banking and capital markets, having worked with HSBC, Bankers Trust, ING Barings, and Multinational Bancorporation in the Philippines, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Joel holds an AB Political Science from De La Salle University and completed the Emerging CFO: Strategic Financial Leadership Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Manny Ayala launched and currently runs the Philippine office of Endeavor, a New York based non-profit focused on helping high impact entrepreneurs scale up their businesses.
Prior to Endeavor, Manny founded Hatchd, a tech incubator in the Philippines that has built and invested in a portfolio of tech companies, including Rappler, GrowSari and Ayannah. He was also a co-founder of EGGstreme, a mobile content company, which was sold to Globe Telecoms. In addition, he co-founded IRG Ltd, a Hong Kong based M&A advisory boutique focused on the telecoms, media and tech sectors across the Asia Pacific.
Manny spent several years in the Television industry in Asia, working for Discovery Channel and Turner Broadcasting in Strategy and Business Development roles.
Manny sits on the Boards of Energy Development Corp., Sky Cable and the University of Asia & the Pacific. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Yale University.

Ayo is Vice President of Origination focused on the consumer and business services industries. Prior to joining Navegar, he worked in investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy, and business development at companies such as Primer Group of Companies, Bain & Company, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, and the Department of Transportation. Ayo is also an observer and advisor to various boards, including Bistro, Dali, and MDI Novare.
Ayo graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Business Administration and received his MBA from the London Business School.
