The collaboration aims to advance the development of factory-built, sustainable housing tailored to the growing demand in Central Visayas’ high-end tourism sector.

Lhoopa will use the fresh funding to expand further in the Philippines and venture into other emerging markets. It also seeks to beef up its technology capabilities and launch its green housing options.

The new platform and financing service were introduced at the 2024 Philippine Construction (PhilCon) Visayas Expo in Cebu City. The expo, organized by the Philippine Constructors Association Inc, was participated by over 200 industry exhibitors.

Financial details of the investment were not disclosed but Hubware and BuildMart PH said the fresh funding will enable Hubware to build a holistic digital construction ecosystem in the Philippines through BuildHub.ph.

Founded in 2017 by Marc-Olivier Caillot and Sabrina Tan, Lhoopa ventures into real estate investments and leverages its network of construction, sales, and customer management to construct cost-effective residences, subsequently offering them to deserving clients for purchase.

Combining Hubware’s penchant for innovation with BuildMart PH’s extensive industry experience, the two companies will solve pain points construction industry players encounter when procuring supplies online.
